This one is inspired by those silly moments in which you share something with a friend that you never thought you would tell anyone. The single most impulsive but easiest way to make life long relationships.
In moments joy,
In moments of pain
for a few seconds,
you loose control of your brain.
In a bid a impress,
In a bid to connect.
Something you might say,
for which you could later, pay.
These lapses in judgement
can forever be your bane.
Share yourself like this, though,
and a friend you might gain.
Though these moments are small
A defining step you take
The more you share these moments
Better relationships you will make.
Throughout your life these moments will stick
but will also be validation, of your friendly picks
A true friend will never let these moments go,
will remind you about them, at a moments go.
But hey! atleast the friend will always be around
Yup. that friend which these moments found.
Quite a few of the recent posts have been dedicated to either the beginning or a defining moment of a relationship.. I am keen on finding on who the doc is watching over what the doc is watching :P
ReplyDeleteNice piece... Not sure if a lapse in judgment would cause a strong relationship... An awkward beginning definitely has worked for me to provide some very long lasting friends :-)
ReplyDelete@online nemesis - these posts are inspired by relations both old and new. They are born out of cumulative experience
ReplyDelete@Mo - what i was refering to was those rare candid moments you share with only close friends or after which people become close friends. Sort of like that saying "A friendship is born when one person says to another 'what? you to? I thought I was the only one'" ;). Moments that result in acceptance or understanding
You could sell this song to Eminem... and he could rap it very well
